All of them of course. My husband is serving in the United States Air Force, so most specifically, I’ll be thinking of him this Memorial Day. He’s deploying very soon, so the whole holiday really hits home.

Thank you to all the men and women of all branches of service. Also, thank you to all the civilians that are assisting our military service members in Iraq, Afghanistan and other war zones.

Thank you for posting this question and showing your support for the troops…. past, present and future!

All of them but in particular the Navies of the British Commonwealth who rendered such gallant assistance during World War One and World War Two (and even Korea, whilst the RAN and RNZN also took part in Vietnam). We will remember them.

Every one of them, they are all part of the same team and same mission. I am especially going to take the day to remember the soldiers who died in my company while we were overseas.

My history falls under the Marine Corps and the Army, so they will naturally get my memories. Especially since I will be going to Leavenworth National Cemetery to visit my mother’s grave. She was a Marine, buried with full Marine honors. My father, a Marine lifer, will be buried next her there when he passes.
I will undoubtedly remember my fellow soldiers who have fought and died too.
Thank you to every Vet who ever served. You are the reason that we are the greatest nation on earth.

Mostly Navy and Marine Corps having spent all of my twenty five years in service with both branches as a Navy man. I’ll be attending the annual remembrance activities at the veterans’ section of a nearby memorial park and cemetery tomorrow morning, as I have done for the past 25 years.
