I just posted my resume on monster.com yesterday. This morning, I got an email about a job opening for a financial service agency manager position from Farmers. Is this a scam or should I reply her? The job and the paid is very attractive, but I have never worked as a manager before. I am a recently college graduate. I had worked in as an administrative assistant for 5+ years. Should I reply or just wait for other job offering?

I have been researching the rehabilitation & reintegration process of former child soldiers in the Sudan, and I really need to interview someone who has either been through the process or someone who has worked at center in the Sudan. Okay!.
well for one thing i have been told, that it is very possible to get Korea as a first duty station.
What is minimum and maximum time length? for Korea.
Also my recruiter said i can throw my dream sheet junk away, and go talk to.. someone ( i dont remember who ) while in AIT. and Request to go to Korea. ( because korea is easy to go to he said. like super easy ). Can i really do that? Who do i talk to? and if i request an assignment there, what are my chances? i know it’s ” where ever the army needs you ” but can i get some logical answers please.

McCain was a POW for 5 1/2 years. This is pretty tough and everybody would agree on that. American people are grateful for his service and his scars.

We have a client who is looking to hire Security Personnel for merchant ship security. Extensive travel is involved between Egypt and Yemen. 3 month deployment with 1 month off (1 year contract). K9 handlers needed as well as regular security.
Requirements: Must have prior experience as a Military Police or Security Force
Salary: $120,000 + 2 week paid training in Boston.
Is it legit I know they have contractors making this much doing various task over in Iraq and with the pirate problems it would seem logical to higher security on board. Just curious if any other Vets have heard about this as it would defiantly hold me over for a year easily and give time for the economy to swing back around.

My husband is considering joining the Air Force. There are a lot of advantages, especially since we are a young couple. You can find a lot of sites and information regarding all the positive things that the military has to offer. Other than the obvious negatives, such as possible deployment and instability, what are some things to really consider before joining the service that no one typically warns you about? What things are important for a spouse to know regarding the military?
What should you avoid talking about in e-mails to a deployed soldier and what are good things to talk about?

20 year old thinking about joining the army…need information?

okay, Ive been thinking about joining a branch of service and it seems the only two options open are the guard or old fashion army
now Im seeking some information for the army… outside of the recruitment office cause we all know recruitment officers dont give two shits if I get what I want out of my term
1) whats the average time Ill be spending in total in the army( whats the typical service term after signing up )
2) what kind of money am I looking at here just from signing up and even after basic
3) Im planning on getting married soon and Im not sure how things work on post, if I make the decision to live on post am I stuck there or do I start packing after my tour
4) what requirements do I have to make to live on post?? do I have to serve longer?? will I make less money??
5) college is a huge part in this decision, so what benefits will I recieve for college?? can I choose my own or do have to join some army college?? will I see any kind of grant money, or scholarship program??
do I have to choose a career in the military to recieve any benefits?? (for example) if I choose to be a chef will the army provide any benefit??
6) if I choose to stay in the military what do I have to look forward to
7) can I switch branches of the military?? am I capable of switching from the army to lets say the marines, or do I have to stay put??
