Hi friends, I’m a reserve soldier of the United States army, I have been married since 2008 until now, but now I’m getting deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan and I wanna divorce my spouse, cuz our relationship is going worse everyday,
my question is , how will military help me divorce her, since she is not happy for my job but I have to serve my country.
please please please help me to find good information on divorcing her in a friendly way.

Steven Green has been charged with murder and other charges for what happened in Iraq. Instead of the military giving him requested treatment for stress they discharged him and permitted him to be charged with murder etc. His actions were wrong but he deserves to be tried with a jury of combat vets instead of civilians. His mental condition should prevent the death sentenance.

I am about to deploy to Afghanistan and have been diagnosed with DI. The doctor told me she wasnt sure if I could deploy..Different people keep giving me different answers but I cant find anything..Is there any risks of going if I have all the medicine and am I actually allowed to go? Thanks

I have custody of my children and am scheduled to deploy… but my ex is saying that she will file for temporary custody while I am deployed. Is there any way for me to avoid deployment to avoid this? Family hardship?

some people don’t handle being military spouses well w/ lengthy deployments and the stupidity thrown at them from the mil. itself even though the service and family members should have better treatment for at least all the time that is sacrificed.can you as the service member understand the possible resentment coming from your lover/spouse b.c. they view your commitment to the military as something before them if your spouse views Iraq as a frivolous pursuit? I’m obviously not yankee-doodle patriotic or a FRG (fam. readiness group) member with a spouse who has been in for years and is used to this (i also feel FRG is a joke, facade and ran by mostly women whose spouses are higher ranks at least 2/3 close to their 20 years of services + need to put up a supportive front. How many 1st sgts., sergeant majors or colonels does one see w/ wives who aren’t active in volunteer work on the base/organizing bake sales? Not a bad thing, but it’s just so unreal!)Did you choose marriage/reenlist?
Never mentioned anything about unfaithfulness and won’t allow a disagreement I have over his service to turn into a personal character flaw of cheating.
As an honorably discharged, ex army soldier myself I see this war as something not in the U.S.A. best intersts and a lost cause.
My husband joined after I left the army much to my dismay. As for the hillarious comment about me having to be more greatful for his sacrifice to the county and air conditioning provided by the joke of a military check, I have a greater income than he does. Joining wasn’t something necessary for financial reasons. I truly wish I could believe he was doing something for the improvement of Iraq and the U.S.A., but I can’t lie to myself and have ethical issues of being a cheerleader for a cause that’s pointless in my mind.
Why do people think Memorial Day is just for the Military?

Memorial Day is to remember those who have died, whether it be your Grandmother, friend or soldier. It is a day to think about them, so why does everyone think it is a day to be so patriotic. I support the troops, but I don’t go all out for them on a day to remember those who have died, just because a lot of soldiers do. That’s what Veteran’s Day is for.

Why am I so emotional since returning from a military deployment?

I was overseas in Iraq. I kind of laughed off all the PTSD and emotional stuff on the way out, but now four months later, I cry at the drop of a hat for just about any stupid reason. I never used to be like that, and I’m not thinking about my time overseas when that happens. Any correlation?

There’s a common song played (Recording) at military memorial services here in Iraq, it has no words and sounds almost native american in style. It’s a very slow sad and low sounding peice of music. It might be from a soundtrack of a military movie. Any Clue?
