I really want to have like a ‘pen pal’ soldier but through email and I wonder what site I can go to to get one? and when I get one like what do I say in the email? its so important because they do so much for us and I want to give back somewhat.
is there a pen pal program in place to write to soldiers in Iraq who don’t have anyone to write to?

i’ve read and heard that there’s active duty soldiers in Iraq who have no one to write to, absent immediate family. I just thought this would be a good way for me to lend support for the troops who are putting themselves in harm’s way in an otherwise unpopular war.
Why would Hussein Obamamma rather go sightseeing than meet with members of the US military including wounded?

It turns out that Obama didn’t stiff the servicemen because of a schedule conflict.
Rather, as Jake Tapper pointed out, apparently without knowing that Obama had canceled planned visits to the two military installations, Obama is going sightseeing in Berlin tonight. I can’t say it any better than Ed did:
Obama canceled a previously-planned stop to visit thousands of American service personnel, including troops wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan being treated at Landstuhl, so he could hold a political rally for Germans and go shopping in Berlin.
Now that’s a nice set of priorities for a man who wants to become Commander in Chief.

I im going to be a pen pal for a soldier overseas and im getting ready to write my first letter but I’m having a hard time trying to think of what to write. This isn’t someone I know, so I can’t write about familiar subjects because I don’t know what they are. What sort of things can I talk to this person about that will provide the most comfort and support?
Is there anyone that has been in the Marine reserves? and been deployed?

I am in the state of Texas and my fiancee and I would like to get married. Unfortunately we have not been able to locate her “husband” who abandoned her in Georgia. He is also AWOL from the military. If the military can’t find him how are we supposed to? We have been trying for almost 2 years. Pleas Help.
