Reserve, or active, doesn’t matter. Does it depend on your MOS at all.. since you’re in a platoon, doesn’t the whole platoon go anyway?
Thanks!

Are you talking about Iraq? In the military, anything outside of the states is considered deployed. However, deployment is not a set time from when you graduate boot camp. Although, there is no way you could be sent to Iraq before your MOS school. You are required to serve over seas while you are enlisted. Your time could be spent in Japan, for example, and not even go to Iraq. Although, you may get both.
